Terms and privacy
Plain terms, and your data stays yours
This page covers the hosted service at worship-planning.com, run by The Fishermen Media. If you run WorshipPlanning on your own server, your church is in charge of its own data and these terms don't apply.
Our promise
We will never sell your data, and we will never give it away. We don't show ads, and we don't use your church's data for anything except running WorshipPlanning for you.
Terms of use
- Price. Hosting is free for the first six months. After that it costs 20 USD a year per church, paid by invoice once a year. We remind you before the free period ends, and you can stop at any time.
- Your content. Everything your church puts into WorshipPlanning belongs to your church. You can export all of it at any time under Admin → Export church data and move it to your own server.
- Your responsibility. Your church admins decide who gets an account and what they can see. Please only add people who have agreed to be in your church's planning, and use the service for church planning only.
- Our responsibility. We do our best to keep the service running, updated and backed up. It is provided as it is, without guarantees, and we are not liable for losses caused by downtime or lost data. Keep your own export as an extra backup if the data matters to you.
- Ending the service. You can leave whenever you like. If you stop paying or leave, we give you time to export your church before we delete it. If we ever stop offering hosting, we will tell you well in advance so you can move.
- Changes. If we change these terms, we will tell church admins before the change takes effect.

Who is responsible
The hosted service is run by The Fishermen Media in Sweden, who look after the servers and the data on them. The servers are in Germany, and if we ever move them it will be to Denmark or Sweden. Your church's data always stays within the EU and is protected by the GDPR. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we store
What your church puts in: names, email addresses and, if your church uses them, phone numbers and messaging choices. Profile pictures, roles, teams, service orders, answers to invitations, dates people are away, songs and uploaded files. Passwords are stored scrambled, so nobody can read them, including us.
Why we store it
Only to run WorshipPlanning for your church: to show the service orders, send the invitations and reminders your church chooses to send, and let people answer them.
Who else sees it
Nobody outside your church, except when your church turns on a messaging module. Then the message and the recipient's address or phone number go through the service your church chose: your church's own email server, iP.1 for SMS, Meta for WhatsApp, Telegram, or ntfy. Those services handle the message under their own terms. The sign-in page may also use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop automated login attempts; it checks the browser and is not used for advertising.
Cookies
The app uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies, and this website has none at all.
Your rights
Everyone can see and correct their own details in their profile. To have your account removed, ask an admin in your church, who can delete it. Church admins can export or delete the whole church's data. When a church is deleted, its data is removed from the live service, and from our backups as they are replaced.
Questions
Ask your church admin first, since your church decides what is stored about you. For anything else, including questions about privacy or a request about your data, email us at [email protected].
