Pricing

Free to run yourself. Cheap if we run it.

WorshipPlanning is open source. Host it on your own server for free, or let us host it for you: free for the first six months, then 20 USD a year.

Host it yourself

Free forever

The whole application is open source under the GPL-3.0 licence. Download it, run it on your own server and change it as you like.

  • Every feature and every module, with no limits
  • Your data stays on a server you control
  • As many churches on one server as you like
  • You take care of the server, backups and updates

You are never locked in

Your church's data belongs to your church. A church admin can download all of it at any time and take it somewhere else.

  • Export everything in one file. Under Admin → Export church data, a church admin downloads the whole church: people, roles, teams, every service order and answer, songs, templates, pictures and files.
  • Import it on your own server. Install WorshipPlanning yourself, import the file, and your church carries on as before. People sign in with the same email and password.
  • Keep it as a backup. The same file works as a copy of your church to keep in a safe place, whether or not you ever move.
  • Move whenever you like. During the free months, after them, or years later. There is no fee and no notice period.

Questions

Anything else? Email us at [email protected].

  • What happens after the six free months?

We remind you before the free period ends. If you want to continue, it costs 20 USD a year for your church, and we send an invoice once a year. If not, you have time to export your church first.

  • Is anything held back for paying churches?

No. The hosted version and the open-source version are the same software, with the same features.

  • Do you sell or share our data?

Never. Read our short terms and privacy page for how we handle your church's data.

  • What do we need to host it ourselves?

A server that can run a PHP (Laravel) application, and someone comfortable setting it up. The README on GitHub explains the steps.
